Rain Cheque
I have just returned from a much needed relaxing weekend in Bath, I am still in a state of mild hysteria after reading this and - as some of you know - my little girl starts nursery school tomorrow. There are a few final preparations to be made and an unusually early night to be had but I promise to return on Thursday with a few photos and impressions from our trip. Here is a little teaser to whet your apetite.

Thanks again for your sweet comments and words of empathy and encouragement. I feel terribly lucky to have such wonderful and constant support from you all!

Now I'm sitting here wondering how the first day of preschool went. Was L. ok, were you ok...? I know, I need to shush. Well, Bath does sounds relaxing, in its name alone. ;) Looking for more to come on Thursday.
PS~Ha, that was such a great, happy post on Erin's blog.
Aww! Thanks for checking in, honey! :) x
She had half a day with me uninvolved and in the background (letting her get to know her new environment, teachers and the other children at her own pace) and she loved it!
Of course, she hasn't fully come out of her shell yet - and there's still the dreaded Day Of Separation to come further down the line - but I'm so pleased that she's off to a great start! :D x
what's that bloke pointing at?!
Oooh can't wait! I'll be eagerly awaiting your post. I hear Bath is amazing.
@Annie: What bloke?! That finger happens to belong to a two-and-a-half year old little girl, I'll have you know! :D
@Erin: It certainly was - talk about house envy! :D
Hope pre-school's going well! My two loved it and I loved them going. Freedom for just a few hours - for me and them!!! x
Thanks, Caroline! x
I kept a healthy distance and just let her get on with things. She loved her first day and seemed instantly at ease.
One of the little girls has already taken an instant shine to her! :D
AACK. The SUSPENSE. And BATH. You're killing us over here, Chi.
You're funny when you get impatient. ;D x
